The Partnership

The North Worcestershire Economic Development & Regeneration service (NWEDR) is a partnership between three councils: Wyre Forest District Council, Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council. We’ve been working together for seven years and in so doing our aim is to attract businesses, power start-ups, create jobs, improve skills and drive regeneration.

Our area is already on the map in terms of growth and prosperity. The economic structure of North Worcestershire combines innovation hubs with tourism, local manufacturing companies with large global businesses, attracted to the area by the skills, talent and opportunity.

The role of NWEDR  is to continue to drive this prosperity and also to manage investment in regeneration and property. There are currently a number of projects and initiatives which the Partnership is involved in, which will have a major impact on the area moving forwards:

- Regeneration of the Redditch Gateway, maximising connectivity to HS2 and the UK Growth Hub

- Infrastructure investment in transport and roads, such as the A38 corridor in Bromsgrove

- Multi £m investment in town centre and Railway Station improvements in Kidderminster
- £65 million investment in revenue generating assets across all three councils

Together, Bromsgrove, Wyre Forest and Redditch form a formidable partnership with so much potential. They also offer lots of opportunities for you to build a great way of life, as well as making an exceptional career move.
